The SC Center for Fathers and Families’ (the Center) mission is to provide the means for fathers to be great dads.  We are a statewide nonprofit that addresses the root causes of poverty and improves the well-being of children and families by strengthening low-income fathers to support children financially and emotionally.  We are a voice for fathers and their children and are committed to changing stereotypes and attitudes about fathers while addressing systems and policies that unfairly and unnecessarily create barriers.  Through our network of 6 regional fatherhood organizations, fathers find help to improve parenting, strengthen relationships, gain employment, become physically, mentally, and spiritually healthy, but most of all to reconnect with their children.
